As the saying goes, ‘The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’. This is actually a load of rubbish, the way to anyone in this house’s heart is through their stomach. We only have the one man in the house and sadly, the girls have lost both Grandads. Don’t tell Mr C, but we know he puts up with a lot living here so we do try to make an effort for Father’s Day. We are definitely a family of food lovers and this somehow influences our style when looking for the Best Father’s Day Gifts. So I thought I would share some of our recommendations here. If none of these gift ideas appeal, you might find what you are looking for over at our Christmas Foodie Gift Guide.

Cheese Truckles from Clawson Farms

I love how bright and vibrant these Cheese truckles from Clawson Farms are. We’ve found each one of them to be utterly delicious (and that’s coming from someone who is not a cheese lover). They are honestly so creamy and smooth. I used a light sprinkling of Red Leicester with Scotch Bonnet on my homemade pizza earlier tonight.
Each truckles retails at £5.50 with flavours such as Extra Mature Cheddar with Truffle& Honey, Oak Smoked Mature Cheddar and Wensleydale with mango and Ginger.

For the cheese lover
Hampshire Cheese Company Wrapped Cheeses

Regular readers will be surprised to see cheese featured on Casa Costello. I’m not a great cheese lover (although I’m definitely getting better at trying and enjoying with age). Mr Costello, however, is a cheese lover so what better day to make him feel special than with his very own cheeses?
These wrapped cheeses from the Hampshire Cheese Company look so stylish (and I hear taste incredible too). The company has recently undergone a re-brand and I agree that these cheeses look great. Perfect for in a gift hamper!
Tudworth English Camembert is described as having a rich, long-lasting and nutty flavours (RRP £8.45) and their newer addition, Winslade is a cross between Vacherin and Camembert, rich, soft and gooey. (Also RRP £8.45)
With thanks to all the brands who have provided products to be included in this Father’s Day Gift Guide. Wishing all Dads/Fathers and the father figures in your life a lovely day.
