I made these as a treat for the girls yesterday. As I was making them, I realised how long it has been since I made Chocolate Fudge – I’m not sure I remember making it since Tara was born! Safe to say, she loved it – I make mine with dark chocolate so it is very rich but the girls love it.
Easter is brilliant for easy, pretty cake decorations – Cadbury’s Mini Eggs are everywhere and so quick to plonk on a cake. The super cute Easter chicks also work brilliantly but don’t taste quite so good!
I use a Mini Bundt Mould and Lakeland’s Mini Doughnut Tin – Both work equally well (The mini doughnut mould only needs approx 12-15 minutes cooking time as they are much smaller)
The flavour of the fudge gets better over time too. If you can manage it, save some for 24 hours later, when they taste amazing. If not, make double 😉
