Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

I was ultra organised this month and decided ages ago what my recipe would be for the Secret Recipe Club. I was intrigued by this Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal and desperate to try it out. I’ve talked before about my love for Organic Jumbo oats but just not being able to stomach porridge so the idea of softening the oats was a challenge. I used Jumbo oats to try to keep as much bite as possible and made sure to only cook them for the recommended minutes. next time I make them (and there will be a next time) I will only cook them for 4 minutes as they can handle being even chewier.

What a great choice! I love the combination of oats and cinnamon so I can see why you chose this.

I always put cinnamon and brown sugar in my oatmeal, but I guess the addition of vanilla and the icing really make a difference and brings it up to cinnamon roll status. Great SRC post!
