Very very late posting my Cake of the Week – A Hello Kitty Cake complete with matching Cupcakes and Cake Topper. This is a special cake for me as it is my daughter, Violet’s 5th birthday cake – and I get to eat it! Yay!
The Hello Kitty cake topper is made with a creme egg middle – I will be posting a tutorial very soon.
Instead of cutting the cake at the party, each child (and there were 40 of them!) took a cupcake home. It was the first outing for my square cupcakes which I will definitely be using again.
The cake is currently sitting on my dining room table (its a fruit) which we will start to demolish as soon as we have finished Tara’s christening cake no wonder I will never be a size 10!
That looks gorgeous, I particually love the square cupcakes, their very effective and make a nice contrast! Having a cream egg inside the topper is a great idea as well.
Oh y God. My daughter would just love that cake. Well done.

Ohh wow, if only you could send it by post. My girls are 4 in July and this would be their dream!
