These are a sure winner with the kids. Not too coconutty as we only like a hint but plenty full of white chocolate. You can’t beat Oat Cookies for an after school or after swimming snack. I’ve been asked to make another batch tomorrow. The bonus is that they are super quite to make too. Violet likes her biscuits a little prettier but even she can cope with these bumpy cookies.
Bake of the Week RoundUp
A slightly quieter #BakeoftheWeek last week but so lovely to see the Easter Bakes are returning. Don’t you just love this time of year for pastel colours and sooo many chocolate recipes?
My featured Bake of the Week comes from Baking Queen 74 with this delicious Malteser Chocolate Loaf Cake – Such a simple cake but so striking at the same time.
1. Thanks as always to my co-host Jenny at Mummy Mishaps for all her hard work last week & for sharing her magnificent Chocoholics Chocolate Overload Cake – Must have been a real chore to have to get through that!
2. Learn all about the origin of Simnel Cake as well as admiring Recipes Made Easy’s traditional version
3. And some very cute GF Mini Simnel Cakes from Easy Peasy Foodie
4. Fair to say, I’m as addicted to Mini Eggs as ever this year. Easy Peasy Foodie is definitely not helping with these gorgeous Mini Egg Brownies.
The linky is now open as usual for this week’s entries – As usual we comment on each entry as well as sharing on Twitter, Pinterest, Yummly, Stumble Upon, G+ & sometimes Facebook too! Please remember to link back to both me (https://casacostello.com) and Jenny (http://mummymishaps.co.uk) as well as adding the badge to your posts. Up to 3 posts per blog are welcome each week and will be included (with a link) in the next week’s roundup.
