I'm a terrible picker and pecans make some of the best nibbles. One of my favourite recipes made ahead of tomorrow's England match. So few ingredients but so tasty. The mildest hint of salt is just enough for me but if you are a salt fiend, be more liberal. The maple sticks wonderfully to the pecans without being too messy - Perfect finger food! The beauty of these is they can be enjoyed all year round, summer parties, casual evenings with friends, Super Bowl evening or even curled up with a book on your own.

Bake of the Week
The hot weather is definitely having a bit of an effect on our Bake of the Week entries. Thoroughly understandable though. I cannot imagine slaving over a complicated recipe in this heat. Lovely to see that some hardy souls are still managing to bake though:
I'm going to break with tradition and award my co host, Jenny from Mummy Mishaps my featured #BakeoftheWeek. Jenny produces fabulous recipes on a regular basis and these Peanut Butter Brownies are no exception. Jenny regularly bails me out when life simply takes over and I am away from home (Seriously guys, if your offspring ever get on Team GB be prepared for a LOT of time in Premier Inns). Jenny's son has also broken his arm in the last couple of weeks too and it still hasn't stopped her blogging and baking!
1. Oh my, these Salted Caramel Cupcakes sound divine with all the different elements. Perfection from The Baking Explorer
2. Wonderfully summery, Strawberry Muffins with White Chocolate Drizzle from Jo's Kitchen larder
3. Curly's Cooking shares her most popular recipe with a controversial ingredient that she doesn't include! Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
4. The second in Cook Style's Tunisian Cookie Recipe collection, Kaak Warka
Our linky is now open for your new entries. I will be sharing all new entries and older entries again over the next week so keep an eye on the #BakeoftheWeek hashtag across social media. Feel free to share the love and other entries yourselves - Its nice to be nice!
Please link to myself (https://casacostello.com) and Jenny (http://mummymishaps.co.uk) and include the badge in your post. Old posts are welcome if they have not previously been entered into #BakeoftheWeek.

Pecans and cashews are my two favourite nuts! I absolutely love your recipe Helen and its sweet and salty vibe, how delicious is that. Perfect nibble!
