Its been a few years since I blogged about my Homemade Naan Bread. I still remember the revelation of how much better homemade Naan is than shop bought though. In line with last night’s Great British Bake Off, I’ve decided to update my recipe. I am so conservative when it comes to my Naan flavours, the most exciting I ever get from a takeaway is a Peshwari Naan but I cannot get enough of this Garlic & Coriander Naan Bread. Even better it is yeast free which makes the baking experience so much easier (and reliable in my case!)
Other than the hour waiting for the dough to prove this is a fairly speedy bread recipe. It won’t rise due to the lack of yeast but the prove is still important. The cooking time is super quick too. Just a couple of minutes on each side so you are best staying very close to the grill. I used the ultimate cheat by adding garlic granules as I only like the barest sniff of garlic but if you like it stronger, chop a couple of cloves and you are good to go.
We have incredible exciting news about GBBO Bake of the Week. Myself and Jenny are delighted to announce that Sage Appliances have kindly donated an amazing prize for our overall winner of our linky.
This beautiful Sage Appliances – The Bakery Boss RRP £399.95 will be won by one of our entrants at the end of the series. To win you need to have entered the linky at least 3 times (This includes entering the final too). This is all thanks to one of our regular bakers, Tanya who made this prize possible. Thanks so much T! Sage Appliances will make the final decision who they award the prize too.
