You may remember from my post last month that we have been working with Glorious Soups. Well, this month we have been all about the strong flavours but healthy choices. Glorious Skinnylicious Texan Four Bean Chilli is just up our street – Hearty and chunky full of beans, full of flavour and spice, yet low in fat (under 2% per portion) and low in calories (under 150 calories per portion too).
I like my soups to have plenty of texture – this contains rice and red peppers for an even more filling meal. Our kids thought this was a bit too strong for them but it was perfect for us to share. I’m trying to increase our fruit & veg intake so it was really handy that these soups count as 1 of our 5-a-day too.
Of course, you can’t have just soup on its own, I used this opportunity to showcase my Wholemeal Soda Bread Dipping Sticks. They are really easy to make, hardly any kneading and ready before you know it. Perfect healthy bread and mini sticks – perfect for dipping!
Glorious Soups are currently on offer in Asda at £1 per 600g tub (Normal retail price £2)
