The tone of this post could be drastically different depending on what day I typed it. If I had sat down to talk about the girls last week at the end of our lovely week at Center Parcs, it would have been all heart warming and full of joy. If you have spoken to me at the end of the first week of term, things wouldn’t have been so rosy. Safe to say, the first week’s tiredness hit the girls hard. I guess that’s the joy of having children and seeing their relationships grow. There really is no bond like siblings and we always knew that having 3 girls would make life
I’ve been wanting to join in with the siblings project for some months now. My sticking point has been how difficult it is to get all 3 sisters together. The various age ranges and Millie’s training schedule mean that rarely are all 3 in the same room (Hurrah for Center Parcs!) I made a decision though, that I needed to acknowledge the time that Violet & Tara spend together. It would be unfair to them to ignore those times (I know I’m making it sound like Millie is hardly ever with them but you know…teenagers!) Just this morning, Violet & Tara have spent time concocting a plan to get a Blue Peter badge – If anyone has any tips, we’d be very grateful!
So that’s the plan for the year ahead. We grab time when we can and appreciate the divine moments when all 3 are chatting and laughing together. Just look at the picture below on our way into Center Parcs last week. I hope you’ll join me for the ride along the year – There’s never a dull moment bringing up the girls.
Who knows, I might even write a post about my own siblings if I get really short of material. Now that would be good for a laugh!
