I’m determined that I’m going to experience a full Christmas this year – Last Christmas I had proper grown up flu for 2 weeks beforehand then spent the next 5 weeks getting over it. I’ve started as I mean to go on, by joining in with quite a few Secret Santa projects – I like the variety of the ones I’ve chosen. There’s really cheap ones, creative ones and completely fun ones. I’m also lucky enough to be part of the #GeorgeSecretSanta programme this year, run by Asda.
I have to admit this is one of the most easy Secret Santas I’ve ever taken part in. I didn’t even have to leave the comfort of my office chair – I didn’t even have to wrap a thing. Even better!
We were all given a fellow blogger to choose gifts for – We had to stalk investigate their blog, instagram, pinterest or twitter feed and choose gifts from George’s Christmas Gifting Range that we thought appropriate.
My recipient was Tasha at GraphiqueFantastique.com. Tasha is a graphic designer based in London. She blogs about lifestyle, design and the most beautiful stationery. She also has a love of triangles! I will admit to having a moment or two of feeling sooo old when I read Tasha’s blog – I soon got over it though and submerged myself into the beauty of her writing and photos.
A few days later and my Secret Santa present arrives! Yay! I always wonder if people can sense the ‘real me’ from my blog so this was a real test. I don’t know who organised my gifts but I owe them a huge thank you. I love them! They are so me – see if you agree…
I’ve had my eye on an impressions set for so long – this is such a lovely gift. I can’t wait to get creative in the kitchen using these.
I fully expected quite a lot of cake references but was pleasantly surprised with this picture. It will fit in with pretty much anywhere in our house.
Who wouldn’t love a cup with their initials on? Both uppercase and lowercase – Perfect for making sure Dermot keeps his hands off my brew!
These socks made me giggle. After the needle in the foot incident, we are definitely being more careful about having something on our feet. Very toasty!
Photo Frames – Always a winner!
Perfect for those horrible 4am starts taking Millie to training. Everyone should have a hot water bottle in the car – Love that it has a 2 year guarantee too.
My very favourite! I love love love this cake bowl – Really heavy and good quality yet pretty and a great size.
So what do you think? My questions to you today are, What would you have sent to me? Are you taking part in any Secret Santa swaps? What would you really not like to receive?
Disclosure: All gifts were provided by George at Asda. Many thanks to them for such a fun project.
I absolutely love the impressions set and the cake bowl! I have some of those socks from asda in a different design from last year. They’re so so cosy 🙂
