Can you believe we are in March next week? These weeks are just flying by, which make these #LittleLoves entries so good to look back on.
We missed last week due to half term madness – We had 2 trips to Aldershot (Other end of the country for us) to drop Millie off at England training and collect her again after 40 hours in the pool. The poor girl has a face full of chlorine burn so we are moisturiser mad this week. The good news is, the team worked brilliantly together and she thoroughly loved staying at her team mates’ house.
So onto what has been going on this week …
Yay! I finished Margaret Atwood’s The Year of the Flood at last. I’ll blog about in fully in my February Reads but needless to say, it wasn’t that much of a success.
I started Sleep Tight by Rachael Abbott on Wednesday and completely love it. Already I don’t want it to finish but desperately need to know the answers!
Its Happy Valley all the way here – How fabulous is Sarah Lancashire and how scary is Tommy Lee Royce? I wish they would speak clearly though – So much mumbling!
I’ve made a HUGE decision this week – I’m returning to my cake decorating days and reopening Aardvark Cakes. You may have read my post earlier in the week explaining why. People’s reactions have blown me away – I’ve had so many texts and messages wishing me well and saying how pleased they are. Just lovely!
I’ve also made this cake this week aswell as 50 sweet cones for Tara’s party.
Tara got loads of new clothes for her birthday – Comfy long sleeved t-shirts that she wears with her beloved skinny jeans. We had a bit of a melt down over her being told to wear a dress for her own birthday party. It was denim material so I thought we might just get away with it!
I’m off out with some friends from my primary school days tomorrow, so will have to dress up! I’m thinking my new Joe Browns dress might get an airing!
In other news, I’ve worn out my favourite M&S Grey slippers – gutted!
This one could be Heard or Watched. We went to the theatre tonight to watch Joe McElderry in Joseph & His Technicolour Dreamcoat and it was fantastic. What brilliant singers! We got the tickets through a Groupon deal which knocked £12.50 off the original ticket price. We chose the 5Pm show and had the choice of amazing seats too. Brilliant night 🙂
Its exam week for Miss M next week which means no early morning training sessions and no 4am get ups! Also no hotel stays for us. I know its mean but I’m so excited that we will have a full week of being fairly local and hopefully having a bit more energy. We may even get the living room finished and the wallpaper finally hung!
Have a great week x
