Number 2 in my NaBloPoMo quest sees a return to me joining in with Reasons to be Cheerful. Normally hosted by Michelle over at Mummy From The Heart but this week guest hosted by Kate at How to Laugh in the Face of it All.
Reason to be Cheerful 1: September
I love September – I have always seen it as my New Year. The children go back to school all refreshed after the summer. Plenty of new starts and lots of resolutions about getting more organised. I have always loved autumn and September normally has quite a few sunny days.
Reason to be Cheerful 2: Christmas
Oh I’m sorry to bring it up for those people who refuse to think about Christmas until November. But, I love it! The first week in September officially sees me starting to plan – I like to leisurely choose what to buy people and plan what to do over the Christmas break – getting excited at the mere thought!
Reason to be Cheerful 3: Life is Good
We’ve had a brilliant summer – we have been lucky to have had loads of time away with each other and just enjoy simple things like seeing the girls playing and being exhausted by the end of the day.
Baby T is now 6 months old and is as smiley and happy as ever. The girls still idolise their baby sister – no signs of jealousy there.
We remember a good friend that we lost this weekend last year and will celebrate his life on Sunday.
So there we are, what’s good in your life right now? Why not hop over to Kate’s place to see the other entries?
